PREVIOUSLY ON 24: Chinese psychopath torturer Cheng Zhi gets his hands on a magical override that can control the world, then kills a bunch of lame hackers including Adrian whatever; Mark is mad jealous of Jack Bauer and betrays him to a Russian guy with the facial hair of a circus clown; Jack and Kate are interrupted by Russian shooters while trying to go get Cheng and the override. It takes about seven minutes for Jack Bauer and Lady Jack Bauer to pg123 eliminate the Russian threat, and by the time they’ve somehow run out of ammo, backup appears. No biggie. Just another seven minutes in the world of the Bauer twins. "jack, stop—i could never hate you, and have." this probably means she will die within the next hour. but when jack does finally reach boudreau, there is a disappointing lack of torture. instead, mark immediately confesses to forging heller's signature betraying russian walrus man. heller about have arrested for treason, wait. growls that he can still use sniveling traitor, so what must be done. they concoct plan invade dude's house just play with his facial hair while, because it truly ridiculous. it's one those traditional "jack sends someone undercover while bites nails waits go invade" events, as always, something goes wrong: time dude eats from before interrogate cheng zhi's location. r.i.p. vagina mustache. you missed. meanwhile, chloe gets away by evolving goth into badass whacking bunch chinese dudes metal pipe. china, reacting fact u.s. sub blew up their carriers, out missiles take surveillance satellites. president crazy war general wants threaten nucular warfare. so, yes... shit going down. really, like many 24's penultimate episodes over years, hour 90% setup. in addition establishing some basic plot points—cheng's ship leaves at 10:30pm, you'd better believe bauer on it—we get see rumblings world iii. then course last minute twist, you're not gonna this, audrey serious danger. what's do: save her or world??? all setting phenomenal season finale, full deaths explosions skips wars pardons twists. die? let's ask japan.
